Installing
How do I install aep motion?
Download the .zxp, open it with the free ZXP Installer, restart your Adobe app, then choose Window > Extensions > aep motion. The install guide has every step.
Which versions are supported?
After Effects 2022 and newer, Premiere Pro 2022 and newer, on Windows and macOS.
How do I update the panel?
Install the new .zxp over the old one. Your packs and settings stay where they are.
Packs
What is an .aep template?
A complete After Effects project (a promo, a slideshow, an intro). Download the .aep from the template page and open it in After Effects, or import it from the Templates tab in the panel. Replace the placeholders, render, done.
What is a .mvp file?
An aep motion pack. It holds the templates, thumbnails and previews for one pack. Click the plus button in the panel, or drag the file onto it.
Do packs show up in both apps?
Yes. Packs install to one shared library folder that After Effects and Premiere Pro both read.
Can I remove a pack?
Open the panel settings, find the pack under Installed packs and choose Remove.
Pro and billing
What does Pro include?
Every pack in the library, new packs as they ship and a commercial license. See pricing.
Can I use the templates in client work?
Yes. Pro includes a commercial license for your own and client projects. Packs bought on Envato follow the Envato license. Sharing or reselling the template files is not allowed. See the terms.
How do I cancel?
Account > Subscription > Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Do you refund?
If Pro is not for you, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. Renewals are not refunded, so cancel before the renewal date.
Account and devices
How many computers can I use?
Three. Sign in from the panel on each one. To free a slot, remove a computer under Account > Devices, or sign out in the panel.
I forgot my password
Use Reset password. We email you a link that is valid for one hour.
How do I report a bug from the panel?
Settings > Help > Report a Problem. The report includes your panel and app versions, so we can reproduce it. If something fails, the panel offers a Report button right away.
Premiere Pro
Where does a template go in Premiere Pro?
The .mogrt lands at the playhead on the first video track that is free for the length of the template.
Why is an item marked "AE only"?
It has no .mogrt version yet. Open the panel in After Effects to use it.
